Estes Park Tea Party Meeting

The Estes Park Tea Party Patriots are celebrating 8 years with a social gathering. You are invited to attend the social at Sweet Basilico, complete with an intriguing speaker.

 

Chief of Police Wes Kufield will entertain with a multimedia presentation of surviving a plane crash in Alaska and Mayor Todd Jirsa will update the group on the State of Estes Park.

 

The festivities start at 5:30. Lasagna and salad will be served ($5), with a cash bar for beverages.

 

In addition to attending, please consider volunteering for the future of Estes Park. Multiple opportunities are coming up: Estes Park Tea Party Patriots are looking for volunteers for their board, and there are upcoming elections for the Town of Estes Park board, Estes Park Medical Center board of directors, and the Estes Park School board.

Nazism was legal in the United States before World War II.  There was an organization called “The German-American Bund” that was a front organization for Hitler’s Nazi Party.  Led by naturalized US citizen Fritz Kuhn, the Bund held rallies with tens of thousands of people in Madison Square Garden, built training camps to educate their youth, and openly recruited in America.  Until.  

Until December 8, 1941.  On that day Adolf Hitler declared war on the United States.  So, Congress then declared war on Nazi Germany.  And from that point on Nazism was no longer legal in the United States.  We arrested and imprisoned Fritz Kuhn and his fellow Nazis.  Nazi spies, when caught by the FBI, were quickly put on trial.  Some were given lengthy sentences; others were executed.  The training camps were shut down.  We also stripped Fritz Kuhn of his citizenship and exiled him to Germany once the war was over.  We were at war with Nazism, and we went after all their agents, soldiers, and sympathizers to utterly destroy their ability to destroy our constitutional

MAYORAL DEBATE

The Estes Park Tea Party Patriots will be hosting a Mayoral Debate on Saturday, February 27, 2016, at 1pm. The event will take place at Mary’s Lake Lodge, 2625 Marys Lake Lodge Rd., Estes Park, CO, http://www.maryslakelodge.com.  The Mayor’s position is a very important part of your local government as this position can be a tie breaker in decisions made by the Town Trustees. This can decide the future of our community so come join us and be informed.

The Lodge Kitchen will be open during the event and the chef will be there in case you want to get a bite to eat before or after the meeting.

Estes Park Republicans Ready for 2016 Caucus

The Colorado Republican Caucus will be held Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at Estes Park High School Commons.  Registration will open at 6:30 p.m. and the Ca
ucus will commence promptly at 7:00 p.m.  

Attendees can pre-register online at “www.caucus.cologop.org” or the night of the meeting.  

Who can participate?

All registered Republican voters:

Who have lived in the precinct for 30 days;

Who have been registered to vote no later than 29 days;

Who have been affiliated as a Republican two months (60 days) – January 4, 2016.

No voting by Proxy or Absentee are permitted at Caucus.

This is Estes Park Residents opportunity to have a voice in who the Candidates will be in the
elections.  If we don’t take advantage of this opportunity, Estes Park won’t have a voice in who the eventual Candidates will be.
